Take a break from looking at images projected onto surfaces and take a look at the surfaces themselves, on the sides of buildings outside the theater, onto which the city projects its own collective self-image. Join this semi-guided walking tour through the hidden histories and back alleys of Ann Arbor to locations exhibiting “patina,” or architectural surfaces made interesting by neglect, decay, and vandalism. Don’t forget your camera. (Free chocolate at tour’s end courtesy of Schakolad.)
